With its Black-owned identity, the restaurant provides a welcoming vibe, ideal for solo diners or families alike. Plus, the bar on site offers a nice selection of drinks. Don’t miss out on dessert - those sweet potato pies are heavenly! 🍰 Highly recommend!

I hate to give them 1 star because the first time I had it, the food was decent.
But I just placed an order through door dash and I am very disappointed, chicken was incredibly old, hard and burnt out of 5 chicken tenders I could only eat 2.
And the 2 I tried to eat were dried out and hard.
I bought 4 dinners all were dried out and hard.
I don’t like wasting money.
All this food to the trash! SMH

I had recommendations to this restaurant and I ordered most of the recommended things.
To sum it all up, everything but the Fish was trash ! Shrimp tasted like old grease, crawfish Mac had NO FLAVOR! Swamp fries had NO FLAVOR! Who dat pasta had little flavor! Hush puppies were burnt.
Will never come here again and I advise no one else to do the same! TRASH! $100 wasted with 2 beer.

This place is a hidden gem for me 🔥❤️😎 I live in Akron but don’t eat out here but This place changes my mind they deliver with great food and service every time 💯 I’ve been here about 3 times and every experience is better when I go!!!! They catfish is mf mind blowing for me cause I do care for catfish but the way they season and fry theirs is beyond good!!!!! I tried their who dat pasta this time and for me it could use a little more salt or seasoning it was still very good!!!!! Definitely recommend if your in the area and looking for a good bite to eat

The food is incredible.
I grew up in Louisiana and wanted some Cajun food with it being around Mardis Gras time.
I will definitely be going back! The fish poboy was my favorite.
You can't go wrong with anything you get there.
Southern comfort kitchen is a must try!!

I have been waiting for almost a year for the right time to try Southern Comfort Kitchen and it did not disappoint in the slightest.
I had the Crawfish Mac and the bread pudding at their food truck previously.
This dine in experience I got Jambalaya, Shrimp Tacos and Bread Pudding.
Fantastic flavor and excellent prices.
Can't wait to visit again, I highly recommend
