Soul Bites is a true gem on State St! 🌟 I loved the cozy, trendy vibe while enjoying a delicious Southern feast. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, and the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting. Plus, the live music added a delightful touch to our evening!

I appreciated the quick service, making it perfect for a casual lunch or a fun dinner with friends. With plenty of outdoor seating and a welcoming atmosphere for families and the LGBTQ+ community, it's a spot everyone can enjoy. Don’t miss their vegan options and signature cocktails! 🍹🎶

We loved everything what is vegan on the menu.
Literally everything, you won't make a mistake with this place, it was simply delicious.
Vegan Po-boy, vegan crab cakes (the remulade is awesome), vegan soul plate (crispy and juicy oyster mushrooms, yummy creamy beans, and collard greens), and vegan potato salad.
The owners are vegan, so you get a food with vibe that somebody really cared about it.
The staff is very friendly and attentive, thank you and see you next time!

The mushrooms in my vegan po’boy were incredibly tasty.
The sauce was also very tasty.
The rest of the po’boy was pretty basic but I don’t care for hot dog buns.
Probably my least enjoyed bread type.
Husband ordered the omnivore soul plate and was very pleased after being sus of the restaurant.
There was nobody else there when we arrived.
It almost didn’t even seem open.
The vibe was just kind of weird.
The staff is super friendly though so we decided to stay anyway and give it a shot.

Run, don't walk, to get you some of this food.
The fried chicken made me start praise dancing, but the hot crackling mac sent me to heaven.
Everything we tried was hot, seasoned to perfection, and infused with so much soul and love. The customer service was on point as well.
The chef and staff made sure we were well taken care of.
Southern hospitality meets Santa Barbara beauty all right here.
