Sotto was fabulous for our anniversary dinner - first visit! As others have said, there is a speakeasy feel inside once through the fairly nondescript basement entrance.
Warm and energetic.
The service is absolutely stellar and everyone works as a team to enhance your experience; it's among the best I've had in 30 years of dining out.
The food is delicious - garlic bread, salads, capellaci, broccolini, donuts and gelato were all lovingly prepared.
But as nice as it is, expect to see people here in ball caps and jerseys and such, which is just the way it is these days.
If you want a nice private table at a good time, call the restaurant four months in advance for a reservation.
Yes, I said FOUR (4).
Worth it!

The restaurant was really dark but the food was delicious! Pricey but worth it.
My server constantly checked in on how we were doing! Recommend the steak in the photo (forgot the name of it 😅😅💕) and the honey bread thing!! 🎀 so good!

This experience was… perfect.
Sorry the photos aren’t the best quality, I was too excited to eat.
The food was *chefs kiss* absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic.
I wish I could give 10 stars— probably my new favorite place in Cincinnati.
