So my wife and I have searched numerous pizza places in and around the Jacksonville area since moving here back in 2022.
It’s honestly a little unfair to compare any pizza to what I’ve had in New York, but a travel a lot for my job across the country and nothing else has come close to New York pizza but I continue to search (taking one for the team eating my favorite food 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️) That being said, I can clearly say that #SliceOakleaf is definitely the best I’ve found in Florida IMO.
If you like fresh, quality ingredients on a crust that has a New York/New Jersey style crunch & snap, you’ll definitely love this place for sure.
This will now be our regular stop when I’m off work and home in Middleburg.
Great lunch deals too if you need to get in and out in a timely manner as well.

I researched prior to coming because WE LOVE CALZONES! Meat lovers did not disappoint.
We will come back.
I did see where someone recommended ordering extra marinara, which I did.
And I agree.
2 is perfect because it is pretty thick but very good.

Ordered takeout.
Pie and a salad, food was very good and the order was ready on time.
The garlic knots looked so good in the case I wanted to change my order.
Service was good salad was really well done and the pie was good.
