Shucks has amazing food and excellent service! Our server (sorry I forgot her name) was AWESOME! She discussed the menu (daily special, regular menu, happy hour) and shared a history of the restaurant and food source.
I appreciate learning where my food was sourced - feels good knowing that Shucks from sustainable farms. I wanted to try everything but couldn’t finish everything.
Shared with my colleagues, we tried the Portuguese mussels (10/10), clam strips (10/10), and catfish fingers (8/10). Highly recommend the Portuguese mussels.
$12 during happy hour (2-6pm CT) and it will fill you up if you are semi hungry. The clam strips were my absolute favorite! Crispy and delish! $10 during happy hour, and it was so worth it. For three small plates with a drink, it came to be around $50 with taxes and tips.
It would close at least $80 in cities like Los Angeles or Boston. Come and try Shucks!

It's been ages since I've had fried oysters.
We moved from Texas to Omaha recently, but I'm originally from Louisiana.
Who would have thought I'd get such perfect fried oysters here? I'm just so happy to have found this restaurant.
My husband loves fried catfish, so we were both happy.
The service was beyond compare.
I'm really particular about food quality, but I can't wait to go back to Shucks!

Our goal is to provide our customers the freshest seafood in town, as if they were living in Louisiana! With that being said, we hope Shucks provided you some of that taste and comfort from back home.

Shucks was so good we had to go back again during our visit.
Great happy hour specials.
The food comes flying out of the kitchen faster than you can down a beer and say, "Let's Shuck on the first date!" Our groups ordered oysters; half shell, Rockefeller & Parmigiano.
Also pasta, fried catfish, oysters, shrimp, and clams.
Oh the the lobster stuffed mushrooms, everything was delicious! Highly recommend this outfit.
