Shelly's Kitchen offers a cozy, casual vibe perfect for a family outing. The jerk chicken had a nice kick, although I wished for more marination. The rice and peas were generous and comforting, but the boiled provisions were a tad lackluster. I absolutely loved the dumplings - even as leftovers! Free parking and a welcoming owner make the experience pleasant. Just be prepared for some dishes that could use a flavor boost. Overall, a solid spot for Jamaican comfort food. 🌴
