Shanghai in Visalia is a cozy spot for a casual meal. I enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and chicken chow mein, while the egg drop soup was comforting. Although the sweet and sour chicken was slightly overcooked, the flavor still shined through. I found the lunch combo to be a decent value, especially after 3 PM, even with an upcharge.

Service was quick, but a bit more warmth wouldn't hurt. The tea selection is impressive; I'll definitely return for more...
