Explosive flavours, really interesting combinations.
The rice bowls are such a deal, delicious, really big portions. Staff is really attentive and will adapt any dish to your liking (spiciness, add-ons,etc.) Nice and cozy space to bring friends. Couldn’t recommend more.

I had the Sahara bowl (namesake to the store) and was pleasantly surprised by the experience.
Sudanese food, somewhat different taste, unusual spices, vast variety of textures. In the huge sea of more of the same it's a delight to see spots like this operating. The atmosphere and entire getup feels very berlinized and authentic to the city with stickered walls and clearly different origin furniture, while keeping it's core ethnic identity. The best bang for your buck is probably the sandwiches which my friend had.
The platters feel a bit lackluster portion wise. There's a wide variety of toppings and sauces that support many different dietary restrictions, however if you can't have peanuts then I'd feel sorry for you since Sudanese cuisine is a lot about that and they do it well here.
