Ruby’s Cuisine of India

We went to Ruby’s Cuisine of India by recommendation from our neighbor and the food was amazing!! We both had the chicken tikka masala and man what treat it was.
We asked for spicy and since it wasn’t as spicy as we like the waiter rushed to the kitchen and gave us the extra spicy we needed.
Great customer service.
I recommend Ruby’s Cuisine of India and you will not be disappointed.
This will be our spot for fine Indian cuisine.
The garlic naan was totally delicious and complimented my dish.
My only disappointment was that I didn’t take a picture of the chicken tikka masala but because I couldn’t stop savoring my meal.
The sweet tea was also amazing.

Recently visited this Indian/Sri lankan restaurant located on Bandera road near 1604 attached to a gas station convenience store.
Again, don’t let the location and outside looks prevent you from trying this gem of a restaurant.
I had the lunch buffet at $12.99 drink not included but still pennies over $15 even with a drink.
The chicken tikka masala was flavorful and on par with other well known Indian restaurants.
The tandoori chicken was good and flavorful but just a tad dry but still good color and flavor.
The saag paneer was tasty with hints of cheese and added flavor from the creamy spinach.
The nan bread came out of the kitchen hot and fresh, a bit crispy on the outside just the way I like it and soft once bitten into.
The mixed vegetables were flavorful and a good accompaniment to whatever main dish you add to the dish.
Overall, very happy with the food presentation, variety of dishes offered, food taste and the very accommodating staff.
I recommend this small but big on taste and value restaurant and for those wanting a taste of Indian cuisine, but don’t want to break the bank.

This is a small restaurant located adjacent to a gas station on Bandera.
They are from Sri Lanka and have some items on the menu, but don’t make them except for dinner since they are still trying to build the business and figure out that people will like. The service is friendly and the food on the buffet is pretty standard.
The chicken curry was a particular standout for me.
The veg dishes were just a little different but pretty okay.
Naan was served tableside and was crisp and tasty.
We were told that they were going to evolve the menu and I am looking forward to the new version
