Wait is anywhere from 20-40 minutes with only about 5-6 people able to fit inside and wait so you will most likely be outside waiting but totally worth it.The food was so good, one of the best breakfasts I have had.The sauce over the catfish was delicious, my husband loved the biscuits & gravy. We got our son these cinnamon roll pancakes and they were TO DIE FOR!! Like best pancakes we have ever tasted. We said we would go back just to order that kids meal for ourselves. One thing that wasn’t worth purchasing was the fried green tomatoes.Don’t bother.

This place had fried chicken that was a must-have...juicy and flavorful. The mimosa flight was just OK and there were a few other dishes that are fine.I think the real star is that chicken. I got a hot honey chicken and strawberry french toast and it was tasty.(I do think they need a different fruit with it instead.) We also had the peaches and cream french toast which tasted good.

When you first step into the Rudy Slipper Cafe in Mobile, AL, you're instantly greeted with the warm, inviting atmosphere of Gulf Coast Southern Creole charm.Curious about their bestsellers, I asked the waitress, who recommended the Sweet Heat Chicken and French Toast Bites. The name alone sounded delicious, so I couldn't resist trying it. I was not disappointed! The perfect blend of heat and sweetness made for an amazing meal that lived up to its popularity. If you find yourself wandering the streets of Mobile in search of a great breakfast, make sure to stop by the Rudy Slipper Cafe. It's a must-visit!
