How have I lived in this city for so long and never eaten here before!? The wings are my new favorite...
probably of all time.
(I forgot to get a photo of them) The Chicken Erv was great but I have to say the Wings and Double Decker Rubbie Burger were my favorites.
Can't wait to get back and try more of their menu.

A friendly little grill with several delicious dishes and VERY friendly staff.
5 stars for nearly all of our dishes - Onion peddle appetizer (such a huge portion it's no joke), potatoes skins (a bit odd having raw onions, but super crispy skin), and the reason we came - the HOT BROWN sandwich.
This is a classic in Louisville and their version here was very good! Really that cheese sauce pulls it through and makes it.
Last, we had their cookie dessert which easily is for two and is super gooey. The 4 stars really is because of one of our dishes - Their BBQ "Spicy" sandwich.
For being ranked highly for their BBQ, this was a disappointment across the board.
It basically had no flavor.
Even the chips somehow were super bland and mostly just tasted like oil.
Not sure how that happened as, and I mean this, everything else we had was delicious!

Hi Nicholas, Thank you for the great review! The chips are hand cut and are usually delicious, so I am wondering if someone forgot the seasoning, I will look into it.
I am wondering what happened with the BBQ sandwich.
Curious which one it was.
We have 4 sandwiches, pork bbq, chicken, brisket, and something we call the Brisket Texas Club (toasted hoagie bun, bbq beef brisket with sauteed peppers and onions, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes on top) They are all usually good, though this one is pretty much my personal favorite.
I am wondering if your bbq sandwich was not prepared properly prepared as well.
Thank you for letting us know, I will look into what happened there and address it with the kitchen staff.
I also hope you will visit us again, and if it was the Texas Club Sandwich you're referring to maybe try it again....

If you're looking for delicious food and excellent service, I highly recommend checking out this local restaurant! The portions are generous, and everything is homemade, right down to the sauces.
It's no wonder they've won so many awards from the Kentucky locals.
The welcoming atmosphere also makes it a great spot to enjoy a meal with loved ones. I cannot emphasize enough how tasty their dishes are.
Whether you go for their award-winning favorites or try something new, their homemade dishes are simply delightful.highly recommend the cod fish sandwich plate or the Rubbies Wings! And for the sweeter side of things, the peach cobbler you cannot go wrong!! The attentive service is the cherry on top of a great dining experience. Overall, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become a hometown staple.
