Roots Burger Bar is a gem in Muncie! 🍔 The casual, trendy atmosphere makes it perfect for a laid-back meal. I especially enjoyed the signature Roots Burger topped with crispy bacon and spicy jalapeños - absolutely delicious! The fast service means you won’t be waiting long, and it was nice to catch some live music while munching away.

We sat outside, enjoying the warm evening with a cold craft beer from their solid drink menu. The kid-friendly options are a bonus for families.

Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving comfort food! 🌟

I wish the food and service was better.
Chicken wing sauce was pretty good if not too salty but the wings were dry.
I also got a strange look for asking for chili cheese fries and while they obliged me and served me an outstanding plate of them I had to persuade the server to make it happen.

The food is alright but for the price its a but much in my opinion.
We got the pimento tots as an appetizer and they were almost $12 and the toppings didnt even cover all of the tots.
The salads are good but nothing special.
Same with the burgers.
The parking lot is also super small as it is shared with 3 other businesses and there is no where else to park around there.
They do offer some fun events on different days though like trivia night.

I had high hopes because the one in Carmel was soo good.
This one is closer so we thought we had a win.
Came in for unlimited wings.
Ate one and HAD rmto run.
Absolutely awful.
It was dry and flavorless.
Its almost like the cooked them in the morning and kept them drying out under a heat lamp all day then dumped a bunch of water like liquid all over it and because the wings were so rubbery and dry it just fell off of it and wouldnt stick to the wings.
We got the ginger teriyaki and BBQ.
BBQ was also not good.
Also they had holes in the container they put them in and the liquid got all over our clothes...lovely.
We did take them home to feed to dogs because they wouldnt take them off the bill so figured at least if we have to pay for it someone should eat it.
Literally might as well have thrown my $30 in the trash lol.
They also had no soda that had carbonation working but didnt warn me of this as I ordered a soda and had that awful flat old soda taste.
They were kind to take that off the bill at least. Ill say we did enjoy the appetizers.
They were top notch. DONT get the wings.
I repete DONT get the wings.
HORRENDOUS condition and youll have to pay for them.
So sad.
Left hungry. If you want to try this place its worth the drive out to Carmel.
We were treated much better there and the food was outstanding.
We will be going back to that location in Carmel.
