I enjoyed dinner with a friend.
The food was great, staff was kind and we enjoyed our time.
Tip: order the pizza right before you are ready to eat.
It gets soggy if you wait to eat it like I did. Garlic knots were so tasty as well as the happy hour drinks!

If you are in town, you owe it to yourself to stop by this five star restaurant.

When you think Louisiana or Baton Rouge, pizza is not what comes to mind.
We were referred to Rocca at a wine night at the local zoo.
I ordered the Spaghetti and meatballs and my wife and friends ordered 2 pizzas.
One pepperoni and one combination pizza with burrata and half smoked brisket.
Every scrap of food was incredible.
The marinara sauce was like nothing I have ever had.
I love marinara, but this is otherworldly.
We had no leftovers. The service was phenomenal and the iced tea was top notch.
The drinks were flavorful and strong without being overpowering. The only downside that I thought would drop to 4 stars instead of 5 was the acoustics.
Due to the painted cinder block and hardwood floors, the sound is overwhelming at times.
However, the food was so amazing that the loud was just not an issue. This place is the best pizzeria I have visited anywhere.
The red sauce beats every other Italian place I have ever visited, from North Boston to Mike’s kitchen.
Someone’s Nona would be proud of this sauce!
