Maybe it's the sea air and the quieter areas of Italy that appeal to me more, but, I adored this beautiful town / city.
The people are warm and friendly and I met so many wonderful new friends.
If you enjoy culture, food, great shopping experiences, a bustling produce market, charcuterie, and delicatessen foods, this is a city for you.
You will be amazed with the plant and tree diversity with several species imported from Africa 🌍 Vinchenzo (I hope I spelt name correctly) is a magician and horticultural king. I visited at Christmas time, I can only imagine how wonderful it is when the trees are in full bloom and fruiting with the many exotic varieties.
I filmed many of the fishermen after returning from sea with a bounty of gleaming fish that was a fantastic sight.
I watched fishermen tend their nets, and although my Italian isn't the strongest, the warm cultural family love shone very brightly.
The Christmas lights ✨️ were amazing, thank you for a wonderful experience.
I will be back as soon as I can, this time with my son and a bigger wallet.

Excellent pizza place near the metro out of the centre of Rome.
Lovely atmosphere inside and it has lots of space.

Just arrived in Rome and it was our first meal here, this was the worst pizza I have ever had. Dough very dry could barley cut through it and did not taste fresh at all.
As you see in the photo I couldn’t eat it. It makes sense why it was so cheap (10€). The staff wasn’t friendly at all.

Mi dispiace che non ti sia trovato bene, volevo solo specificare che non hai mangiato una pizza come ben si vede dalla foto ma una pinsa che purtroppo a pranzo non cuciniamo nel forno a legna, quindi può succedere avendo il forno elettrico una temperatura più bassa e se sbagli come sicuramente è accaduto il tempo di cottura, accade che si secca il condimento e me ne scuso.
Per quanto riguarda il personale purtroppo ieri eravamo solo in due per un malore dell’ultimo minuto e avevamo tutto il ristorante all’interno pieno, se hai notato la tavolata al piano superiore e abbiamo fatto il massimo per servire tutti ma mi dispiace per il disservizio che hai avuto e me ne scuso
