A comfortable restaurant in Berlin’s Botanic Garden.You will find this restaurant right after the Garden’s entrance by the Unter den Eichen.Friendly service and nice location close to the little pond.The Spring salad was fresh and tasty.If you take it with chicken, the cost is 16,50 euros, and it is abundant with chicken breast stripes.Sunny terrace weather permitting.
Do not go.We asked if we could pay cash or card, told card was fine.Paid via card for apparently their machine to not be working.Payment WAS taken out of my account but they would not accept this and would not let us leave the restaurant for 30 minutes as they tried to work out their machine.Staff were rude to us the entire time, blamed us for their issue.Required me to speak on the phone to someone who must’ve worked there, then demanded a second payment from us.Would not let us leave and did not offer us an apology.It was just two coffees for approx €10.40 which in fact the payment did come out of my account entirely, we paid the second time in cash as we just wished to leave after their awful treatment so now have paid near €21 for two coffees.Bad service, overpriced, treated us badly.Highly warn against going.
The waitresses obviously looks stressed, with the indoor seating empty but outdoor full.We looked aliens to them when we wanted to seat indoor in Spring.We waited for a looong time before they are ready to takw our order and the food is priced towards the expensive side.We left after 15mins without ordering
