We came to Reata while in town on spring break.
We booked a reservation for 6, but decided to go early.
The table was ready when we arrived, but we went to the rooftop bar for one drink first.
It was fun and a great view! We then were seated right away.
The waiter Brandon knew was knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant’s favorites.
My husband got the carne asada and I got the citrus chicken - both so yummy! Oh and actually can’t forget about the biscuits and cornbread they brought out first - amazing! Then for dessert we were shown all the options and given explanations.
We went with the dessert tacos which were fabulous.
And overall we spent just under $100 so not too shabby! Definitely recommend!

This restaurant exceeded our expectations.
The food was fantastic; we enjoyed a salad, tamales appetizers, a bison burger, and carne asada enchilada—all delicious.
Their variety of cornbread and focaccia was absolutely delightful.
The decor evokes the ambiance of the old oil tycoon era, transporting you to another time.

Service was great tamale starters were excellent, spinach salad was good, sea bass was not for me ( did not taste fresh ).
Steak was tough.
Desert we took home was good.
Was probably better fresh. The absolute worst part is valet forgot to get our vehicle, and it took 45 minutes , it was not busy
