You haven’t been to Chicago if you haven’t been to Portillo’s.
Great place to try my first authentic Chicago Dog.
The Italian Beef Sandwich, though is the star of the show.
I’m not a huge fan of Italian Beef Sandwiches, but this one won me over.
You also NEED to leave room for dessert.
The chocolate cake shake is an out-of-body experience - and the portion is huge.

Portillo's is a very interesting Chicago experience.
For about 2 generations, maybe three.
All the locations are decorated with the theme of the Chicago gangster times 1920s - 1930s has a nice feeling, this location in napperville is not one of the best there are a few locations that are really decorated with over the top displays, very fun. Food is always good, and even this is a very Chicago experience. Their beefs, Chicago-style hot dogs, and maxwell Street polish can't be beat great place to bring kids.

After pulling in the driveway and being greeted with "What!?" In a very snippy tone followed by an immediate apology.
We were given the saddest 40 dollar meal for 2 I have ever seen.
The young lady in the drive through wouldn't have been an issue if they didn't fumble so hard on the food quality.
But seriously 2 beef and cheddars with "extra cheddar" and sweet peppers.
2 large fries and 2 hot dogs with everything.
40 dollars and some change.
Unbelievable.
These should be the most perfect meals I have ever seen for that. Also no kids options sucks.
Offer a dang kids meal.
