I visited the Popeyes on Central Ave recently, and while I had high hopes for their famous spicy chicken, my experience was a mixed bag.

I ordered online for pickup but found they were out of chicken nuggets. 🤦‍♂️ After waiting nearly 20 minutes with no acknowledgment from staff, I finally got my food. The spicy chicken was as good as always, but sadly, the red beans and rice were nearly bean-free - just disappointing rice.

The overall service was lackluster, but the food can be great if you hit them on a good day. I'll give it another shot! 🍗
