Pixiu Mala Hongtang PDX is a hot pot haven that has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Portland! 🥢 The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, making it perfect for lunch or dinner.
You get to assemble your bowl with a variety of fresh ingredients - think shrimp, squid, and tons of veggies. I loved the crispness of the ingredients! I opted for a 2-star spice level this time, and it definitely gave a kick without overwhelming.
Just a heads up, avoid the deep-fried gyoza; it was frozen and didn't impress. But overall, the experience was fantastic, and I can't wait to return for another flavorful bowl!
