Stopped by Phil's Plaice for a quick bite after hearing mixed reviews. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made the casual vibe even more enjoyable! I ordered the fish and chips - while the chips were perfectly crisp, the fish didn’t quite hit the mark; it was a bit dry this time. The curry sauce, however, was fantastic and complemented it well. I’ll give it another try next time, hoping for a better fish experience... 🍽️
