September 15, 2024Pelican is a delightful oasis for Central American cuisine! 🌟 I stumbled upon this cozy spot while exploring South LA and was warmly welcomed by Doris and Flore. I indulged in the Ox Tails served with black beans and rice, and it was bursting with flavor!
The atmosphere is casual, making it great for solo meals or groups. I couldn't resist checking their Saturday special, the BOIL UP, which looked divine.
Although I've had some ups and downs with the rice quality, the charm and comfort of Pelican have kept me coming back for their famous fry jacks. A definite must-try! 😋
