I recently visited Pearl Garden in Queens and was pleasantly surprised at the authentic Taiwanese offerings. I tried the Taiwanese Railroad Bento Box, which had a generous portion, and the crispy chicken - though the chicken was a tad overcooked, it still packed a decent flavor.

The service was warm, if a bit slow during lunch rush, considering the place is just for takeout. The fried rice cake was also noteworthy, reminding me of night markets in Taiwan! While it may not be the most refined spot, it’s great for a quick, satisfying meal. I’ll be back for more! 🌟
