Seafood restaurant
We stopped by on the way home from the zoo and had the golden tile and trout. The fish was cooked perfectly but, the shrimp was a bit overcooked. The potatoes were good, but we weren't sure we liked the sauce. For an appetizer, we had the calamari and octopus. It was good. The octopus and artichokes were our favorite. Traffic is horrendous in this area.Overall, it was a good experience and we would go back.
I'm not going to lie, we went a little bit overboard at Pappadeauxs and I don't regret a thing.Every morsel of food that touched my mouth tasted divine.Everything.The drinks had us giggling, the food had us ready for a nap.The portions were huge, too big for two people so expect to have leftovers. The service was incredible, our waitress was actually kind enough to 1) stay late to take our table 2) give us recommendations on places to go in Houston while we were visiting. It was fantastic.
Great place in Houston. We had the Red Snapper with crab and it tasted amazing. The Greek salad prepared at the table was fresh and delicious. We had reservations on New Years Eve and they were extremely busy and that impacted the service. Our server did a great job but he was spread thin in trying to cover all of his tables.Absolutely recommend this place!
