Been here a few times and I must say, that the good first impression was no fluke. This place has excellent food and service! They've even extended their happy hour during the weekdays to 11pm.Last call at 1030p for food. For the quality of food, serving sizes and the prices are worth it, especially Happy Hour prices. This spot is a hidden gem. So far everything we've had, has been on point. Don't wanna bore you with meal details, just look at the pics and the speak for themselves. Deborah was our server, very friendly, helpful and patient. Highly recommend this place!
I absolutely love this sushi restaurant! Every time I visit, I'm impressed by how clean and inviting the atmosphere is, and the staff are incredibly nice and attentive. While it's not an all-you-can-eat sushi spot, the quality of the sushi here is top-notch.They also offer a kids' menu with options like chicken teriyaki bowls, which is perfect for families. And don't even get me started on the seaweed salad – it's so good! Overall, I always leave this restaurant satisfied, making it my go-to spot whenever I'm craving sushi.
So-So. Stopped here because I drive the 210 frequently and have seen it when I stop to get gas. I came in around 9pm, alone, and then 2 other people came in after me. She told everyone to sit anywhere they like and she would get to us. Then she proceeded to take the orders of the two other groups who came in after me before coming to my table - kind of rude when I had already been waiting a while before the others came in behind me. I ordered yellowtail sashimi, spicy tuna hand roll, and tempura. They put some kind of dressing on the bottom of the plate under the daikon and also some type of other dressing on top of the sashimi. Totally kills the natural flavor of the fish when you add dressings to the plate. This is not the norm for sashimi which should be served clean and natural - if you wanna push dressings offer them on the side. Ruined the flavor for sure. The spicy tuna hand roll was not spicy - rather bland, in fact. Only one soy sauce option that was way too salty. The amount of ginger provided was very small. This menu is someone's personal spin on sushi and not authentic, just average experience in my opinion.
