Opus Ocean Grille

My wedding was July 14,2024! Everything was perfection! The service was excellent.
Corey and his team did not disappoint! Everything and everyone was just as I dreamed and more.
The food was great ! My Husband was delighted and my quest cannot stop bragging about the classiness and the perfection of our special day! Thank you Opus! Corey and staff were so accommodating and gracious! Bravo Team Opus!

Ordered the Chilean sea bass and snapper for main dishes.
Definitely hearty like in the restaurant's description - way too much butter for my liking.
Vegetables were also too salty and also drenched in butter.
Also ordered the seafood gumbo which was a bit salty but pretty good.
Raw gulf oysters were fresh.
Calamari and house salad were as expected.
Overall, probably wouldn't go here again for the price, but the flavor may be more for others' liking.

We have been here several times before this evening.
This has been our go to place for special occasions.
We made a reservation for our 31st Anniversary, and requested to sit by the window.
We were instead offered a table by the entry, and it was the only empty table, which was disappointing, as it is a tradition that we sit by the window. I ordered the crab fingers, and my husband had oysters for starters.
Both very good.
My main was lobster with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
The lobster portion was very small, and mushy.
I had to ask for the drawn butter it was supposed to be served with.
The mashed potatoes needed more seasoning, but the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and there was a good amount.
My husband had tuna steak with asparagus.
He said it was very good.
We had bread pudding for dessert, which was some of the best I have ever had. All in all, the service was okay, and the food was very timely.
But, I was disappointed in my lobster, as it has always been a better portion and cooked perfectly every time I have had it.
Leaving off the drawn butter was a miss, and the plate should have never left the kitchen like that.
We might go elsewhere for our next special meal.
