We enjoyed a delicious dinner here of Bifteki and Gyros before going to a concert in the Zitadelle.Just a 20-minute walk, which was very needed after a filling meal!
This is our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood.The food is unpretentious and very yummy, generous portions, vast menu, fast service and the best: super friendly and welcoming staff.The only downside for us is finding a comfortable place to sit: inside, music can be a bit too loud, leading people to speak louder (somewhat overwhelming for people who are sensitive to noise), and sitting outside means being exposed to the weather and cigarette stench, as there's no separation between smoker and non-smoker area (but that's inconsiderate Berliners' fault, not the restaurant's fault - the staff do their best for all customers to feel welcomed).
Food is great, the grilled meat is brilliant.The portions are very generous as well.The service is also great. They could have menus in english (you will get overwhelmed by the amount of dishes, 400+).Also, don’t order the bootle of water, it costs 8.5 euros (the reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 and also the reason why I didn’t tip).The food is also a bit pricey.
