In the heart of Fort Collins, I stumbled upon the Olive Garden – an unexpected haven where the staff’s infectious enthusiasm transformed a mere meal into a familial gathering. From the moment I walked in, it wasn’t just about the food; it was about the genuine connection, the warmth in their service that resonated with the promise of being part of something more than just a dining experience. The atmosphere echoed with an unspoken camaraderie, making it clear that, in this Olive Garden, you weren’t just a customer – you were family. And that, my friends, is the kind of hospitality that turns a simple meal into an unforgettable journey.
Revised: To start, I should say I have a bunch of food sensitivities. They're nothing that will kill me, but they can make me miserable for a couple of days to a few weeks. Our server was very kind and helpful. The manager, if possible, was even more kind and helpful, and a chef even came out to check that things were correct! I was impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. I've never had that much care go into my order anywhere else before! They were amazing! They made a huge effort to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of, and it was so appreciated! Since I don't/can't eat soy, gluten, dairy, soy-fed eggs, or nightshades, that just didn't leave many options. I ended up eating minestrone soup with no pasta, a side of grilled chicken with salt and pepper, a side of broccoli, and a salad with nothing on it. I am grateful that, given the limitations that I was working around, I was able to come up with anything I could eat without consequences, though!
Showed up around dinner time to eat.We were informed there was a 45-minute wait to be seated. That time nearly flew by as we only waited 15-20 minutes. The wait for the server to come to our table was longer than the wait to be seated. We were seated at about 6:50pm on a Friday night and watched for 25 minutes as a vast number of servers and even managers walked by our table.Apparently, there was more buzz about a small drip from the ceiling by the table to the left of us than there was about serving actual customers. We had to finally ask to have a server to be asigned to our table as if we were totally forgotten about. We watched all night as the manager stopped by every table that was around us to see how their dinner went but not once bother to come by ours, a table that was not seen for 25 minutes and had a less wait time getting in the door than seeing a server.Food was good, and we were given a free appetizer, but by that point, you get kind of turned off by even being there since it felt as if we were an afterthought.I've been to numerous other Olive Gardens, and I have to say I would rather deal with a rude server than a server that is not even present.I am sure that the girl that was supposed to be assigned to us just ignored us, as she helped both tables to the left and right of us but ignored us, the table in the middle. The lady who did help probably was not assigned to that area, as she seemed extremely busy and would often forget things as simple as the dinner mint chocolates at the end of the night, a huge thing one of our kids was looking forward to.Hopefully if you choose this Olive Garden, you're treated better.I would have thought that this Olive Garden being in north field would have been better than either the Westminster and/or the Thornton locations, but I guess you have to learn the hard way.
