So my wife and I finally had a morning to ourselves and decided to go find a new breakfast place. We looked up local breakfast/cafés and the first place we went to was actually closed for renovation, but never said online, that’s a whole Nother story. Our search led us to the old Mill Café on ninth Street.Walking in, the atmosphere is super cool.It really feels like an old diner and we especially loved the seats at the bar top! There are pictures of the history of downtown and of the Old Mill Café, which really added to the nostalgia. The service was phenomenal from the moment we walked in till the time we paid. The servers are extremely attentive and very friendly. I love my omelettes so I ordered an omelette that had as many different meats as I could possibly get.My wife wanted the NY steak and eggs, but they were out of the New York steak. That led her to a more old-fashioned style breakfast with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and toast.I must tell you the food was great.Very tasty, cooked well, and arrived quickly. The biscuit & gravy was super yummy! We will definitely go back so my wife can try the steak and eggs because we were told they are to die for.Definitely a must try if you haven’t been here for breakfast
Great Portions Great Service and very tasty food. Old school Diner setting very comfortable and clean. Only issue the servers talk really loud about their personal lives which are filled with a bit of drama as is everyone else's situation. But as a consumer and patron of the business I don't care to know any of that drama especiallywhen trying to enjoy my meal.I don't care to know who Mohammed is and why he isn't a good friend.JUST SAYING
Very good breakfast, definitely worth waking up early for.The server is very friendly and very attentive. She works really hard and deserves some praise for her work ethic. I got the 3 French toast with eggs and hash browns. It was really good.Price is worth the food no doubt.Always packed with people unless you go very early! Around 8am it's pretty empty and you have a first choice at a table. Definitely a nice mother's day experience.
