I recently stopped by Nick's for a quick fish and chips fix. The takeaway is in a neat spot, and I appreciated the nearby parking. I ordered the classic fish and chips combo. The fish was nicely battered, but the chips could’ve done with a few more minutes in the fryer for that perfect crunch.

While the atmosphere was casual, I did feel a bit of a disconnect with the staff. A warmer welcome would really enhance the experience. Overall decent for a quick bite, but perhaps it needs a sprinkle of friendliness... 🍟
