Thai restaurant
Iâve been looking around Tucson for a good pad Thai and I quite liked this one! My bf found it too funky but I liked it, I think it was the bamboo shoots that did that so if you like it less funky I would just say that if youâre getting veggies to ask them to leave out the shoots! Boyfriend got the green curry and it was delicious and packed with flavor.Great service and fair prices.Especially on beers and cocktails ($4-5 for beers, $8 for cocktails and I believe $7 for a glass of wine).I will be returning for some more pad Thai!!
This was such a nice find after a day of driving around. The staff was very nice and the food tasted amazing. I got the Basil Thai fried rice at a level 3/medium (since i know thai cuisine doesn't mess around with spice) and it was such a nice spice to eat.It got hotter as you ate more, but wasnt so over the top where you couldnt eat it.If you are a spice fanatic i bet you would love the food and maybe a spicer level.I think next time i will try a 4 (its out of 5).Also the fried rice came with an over easy egg on top and ive never had a place do that but it was so good and mixed well with the dish afterwards. My partner ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and they liked how they put the peanuts on the corner of the dish so you could put it on as you ate. Overall, we had a great time and if you are ever around Park Place or the nearby shopping outlets, this is a good spot to grab a bite to eat afterwards.Just a warning though they give a LOT of food so i wouldn't be surprised if you have leftovers!! 10/10 restaurant and great food for the price! Please treat the staff well if you decide to come as they deserve it!
After a hike in Sabino I was in the mood for a tender smoked turkey sandwich on fresh garlicky bread role from Brushfire.Hadnât been to Brushfire in a few months. I arrive⌠no lights, no cars⌠âAvailableâ signs in the windows. Oops. What about the other location? Also closed. Too bad⌠Well, Iâm still hungry⌠what else is around? I remembered an Asian restaurant had replaced Peking Palace, so decided to give Natthaâs Bann Thai a try. Restaurant was clean and peaceful, a few other diners, a mellow place for lunch. The lunch specials menu is predominately classic Chinese dishes with a couple of Thai recipes. I ordered the Stir Fry Fresh Ginger Chicken. It was definitely fresh ginger, lots of succulent white chicken meat, onions, green onions and mushrooms â all very good. Service kind and attentive.
