My good was burnt and dry.The mac and cheese was greasy.Overall, the only thing good about what I ordered was the rice. They forgot my cocobead.I posted pictures of what I received. This was my first and last time trying them. How do you burn plantains?
This is my second time going to Mums Kitchen. The first time it was just ok.Not much flavor but ok.I decided to try my hand at supporting them a second time..No No No big mistake. The jerk chicken was dry as the Mohave Desert! No juice, no nothing! It was horrible! The Mac and Cheese was just as worse, the cabbage no taste..the curry chicken ( tho it looked good on the picture it was also dry ( once again no gravy or anything) the potato salad was disgusting. It taste like store bought potato salad with added ingredients OR the potato salad was sitting for a while.I’m always leaving reviews and I’m always honest when leaving them.It just doesn’t taste like authentic Jamaican food ( just my opinion) sad to say that I will never show my support again. But I do wish them great success..something has to change with the quality of food they are serving people in order for this place to thrive.Or we will be looking at another Mexican restaurant in its spot!! Just being honest
A friend told me about this place and said it was good so I stopped by one day and got the curry chicken with macaroni and cheese and cabbage. She hyped it up and told me that it was some good Jamaican food and I didn’t knock it until I tried it and now I wish I would’ve save my money because the food has no taste while they’re preparing the food didn’t taste as good as it was advertised.I’m very upset because Jamaican food has flavor and the stuff there is very unsanitary they eat while they work and their hands are not clean while fixing food.
