Upon contacting the restaurant and engaging with the manager, I discovered that this fee was the reason for the additional charge on my receipt.
Regrettably, the manager appeared displeased when questioned about this.
Notably, a meal initially priced at $12.99 would total $14.46 when paid for via debit.
Had I been informed of this fee beforehand, I would have considered alternative payment methods or possibly chosen another dining option, such as Captain D’s.
Clarity regarding additional charges is fundamental to fostering a positive customer experience.
