It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Rome.Excellent food and a very good staff. There also is a large section of good wines.
Great food and wine by the glass selection, as one would expect for a 1-star Michelin restaurant.Flavors are awesome and portions generous.Only fresh ingredients and local fare without pretension and unique taste in classic dishes. Did not like the setting a lot, but everything was great, a bit on the expensive side but understandable. Downstairs they have a bistro and was crowded, with simpler cheaper options and bread and coffee. The place is also not great with the street being repaired in front. Hope that they remodel soon, it's be a great spot!
Food was imaginative with pretty great presentation.Service was rather good and multilingual.Atmosphere was a bit off - i sat in a kind of weird area where the tables were just too close to one another, and part of the dining experience is really being able to focus on the food and not the nearby chatter.I bet the meal wouldve improved if i had sat in a different or more secluded space.Nonetheless, the degustation is quite inventive and most of the dishes were full of flavor.I did the 120 euro spring/summer tasting menu and was pretty happy (total with water was 132 euros for dinner, June 2024).They had some amuse bouches of smoked fish and daikon and tuna, a really fun plate of bread and schiacciatelle with Lazio olive oil (SO GOOD they let me take the leftover crackers home), spring garden vegetables, squid tagliatelle (interesting but could've been more flavorful), tortellini with teriyaki (intersting and a combination I've never tried before), chamomile and eel risotto, picanha steak with carrot puree, and a polenta cake dessert. The non-alcoholic cocktail I had was terrific - refreshing and flavorful: it had pomegranate, almond, and lime.Overall, I would recommend but other 1-star Michelin restaurants are more memorable, so set your expectations to be reasonable.
