Well worth the trip! Service was great and the soul food is outstanding! Now I don’t have to travel all the way to DC to visit Henry’s or Ooohs & Ahhhhs...
They have nothing on this place’s fried whiting...

The lady that took my order over the phone was nice.
But the food was too expensive for the portion given.
25 for both meals.
My chicken taste like it was fried with the fish.
Everything was seasoned.
I'll just stay with sides.
Maybe because it was late they didn't have desserts to offer.
Not sure if I will go back.

I ordered a catfish meal and my mom ordered the 4 piece fried wing meal.
The mac n cheese was definitely a taste you can attribute to being their own.
The garlic string beans were okay.
The catfish was a little salty.
You get a good amount of food.
They were out of a few sides and it was only 4pm.
The strawberry crunch cake.
Oh my goodness.
Order 2 or 3 because you won't be satisfied with just one.
The peach and watermelon lemonade mix was tasty.
It's best to call ahead of time.
I tried ordering online, but grubhub wouldn't accept my order.
It kept cancelling.
It's about a 30min wait.
Pretty long in my opinion whether the food is fresh or not.
Customer service could be a little better.
It took awhile for me to give my order (which is why I even attempted to order on GrubHub).
I stated I still needed to order and the woman at the counter still didn't take my order.
