Just had Brunch at Millie’s today. The staff was fun and kind, my drink was delicious, and overall my food was pretty darn great. My only thing keeping this from being a 5 out of 5 Star review is the poached eggs for the Eggs Benny. The yoke was more like a soft/medium boiled egg rather than a runny poached center.I realized they make a lot a once and keep them warm by the grill (visible from the bar area) which makes sense when you are trying to get food out quickly for customers, but I wish they had a method for this that did not continue cooking the eggs at the same time. All that said, still recommend Millie’s and I know my friends and I intend to make it part of our regular brunch rotation.
Food is all kinda the same.A bit Sriracha heavy.Corned beef has was more like a corned beef stew—definitely not what you’re expecting.People are nice and the service was great, but I’m personally not a fan of the menu.
My girlfriend and I drove from the DC area and were starving when we got here 2 mins before brunch was over and our server Evan took great care of us.We enjoyed our drinks and the food was delicious.
