Italian restaurant
Visited with a friend, and, overall, enjoyed our experience. The food was good, but the service was slow and inattentive for an upscale establishment. The lasagna was the stand-out dish - the meat was extremely flavorful, lots of cheese, and the pasta was fresh. There was tons of sauce - it was served in a deep-disk skillet - that was also flavorful. They have a great little bar with a fireplace in the center, which would be wonderful on a chilly evening. The calamari was fresh, but just a bit greasy.I'm sure we'll visit again.
Went here wanting to have dinner after the Grand Prix and we got sat down right away.Amazing service by Daniel and I loved my chicken parmigiana with a side of pasta. The ambiance, atmosphere, and setting made our Sunday night dinner such a great time.Big shoutout to all of the staff at Michael’s Downtown in Long Beach.I will definitely be back.
Had a really nice evening here! We ordered drinks, apps and dinner. The staff was friendly and really knew their stuff about the menu. There were a ton of specials which they rattled off easily and answered questions on.The outdoor seating was a nice change! We had the lasagna, pizza and the Brie appetizer. All the food was delicious, really well thought out and conceptualized. My only complaint was once we were all done it took a good 20-25 minutes to get the check, and we were so tired. We just wanted to go sleep off all the carbs!
