Updated review - 6/1/24: My wife and I were out and about and decided that a McDonald’s Sausage Egg McMuffin sounded good….so we ordered two of them in the drive-thru. They were DELICIOUS! One of the best I have ever eaten! The service was fast and friendly. We were happy we stopped! —————————- Updated review - 5/19/24: I was driving past McDonald’s and decided I wanted a Quarter Pounder with cheese. Bad idea! It was one of the worst Quarter Pounders I have ever eaten. Number one, the bun was hard, possibly stale… it was the sloppiest burgers I have ever eaten. The meat was sliding out of the bun, the ketchup was dripping everywhere. The cheese was sliding off the sandwich. It was a mess! The good news was the Diet Coke was delicious. —————————- Original Review: It was raining, I had the day off, and I had a craving for a McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish with extra tartar sauce… and of course a small Diet Coke. Filet-O-Fish are my favorite! I get extra tartar sauce because occasionally there isn’t enough. Well… I got exactly what I ordered. It was perfect! The tartar sauce was oozing out the sides. And the bun was soft and steamed. Mmmm!!! It was delicious! The drive-thru was fast. The people at the window were super friendly and polite. Overall it was a perfect McDonald’s experience!
This location has single handedly turned itself around in the service department exceptionally well. The team currently working is definitely committed to assuring great quality, and upholding the classic McDonald's standards.Emphasis on classic, as you can't commonly find service like this much anymore.Kudos to you Lathrop team! Keep up the great work! My Atmosphere rating has nothing to do with local means, more so corporate wide for McDonald's.The Atmosphere of McDonald's should be happy, fun, bright, and exciting.Especially for the children, let alone I'd rather see McDonald's happy again as well. The interior design is extremely lack luster compared to its former glory, but again this is brand wide. The play zone in itself has been shrunk and reduced. As a child, I remember having endless fun getting lost after barely finishing my happy meal.Times change, just an adjustment I don't prefer. To end my ranting review, thank you again Lathrop team for continued improvement. P.S.tell corporate to smile a little, and give us better happy meal toys c:
Before you read on this stop, it really is a sign of the corporate mentality. We just left the fair grounds, and my wife saw the flashing sign in front of the place saying.59 cents for ice cream cone.( she had throat/upper spine surgery 6 years ago and scar tissue is her forever memory of irritation.) Ice cream soothes her throat. But the 59 cent cost isn't in their computer system. The regular price is MORE than $1.40.Now, this was extremely confusing to me.Who placed the 59 cent cone on the led sign ? The store manager arrived and she acted confused.Just take the cone now.
