We love Mayan Kitchen! The food is amazing, the service is great.
I love that they have so many very clearly marked vegan options.
We went there twice during our visit to Sunnyvale and will make it a regular stop when we are there visiting my son.
This is a not to be missed restaurant for vegans and non-vegans alike.
The Yucatan fries are amazing with the vegan aoili.
Do not miss this.

Chef Ed prepares Vegan scallops paella made with trumpet mushrooms, artichokes, fried ripe plantains, spicy tomatoes sauce, peas, and rice.
Taste good.
However, presentation is a little bit soupy with touches of saffron flavor and red peppers.
For dessert vegan cheesecake, mint, orchids flowers and cranberry sauce.
A little bit too sweet to my taste

Food is good but will not blow your socks off.
Enjoyed the elote but wish there was more of the crema on it.
The pumpkin salsa was interesting but not something I would order again personally; the flavor profile felt flat to me; however, the chips were very yummy.
Additionally I ordered three tacos: chicken, steak, and vegan calamari.
The vegan calamari was very interesting in a good way, reminded me a lot of a fish taco.
The steak one hit in all the right spots.
The chicken one was cooked well but the least favorite of the three.
All three tacos had absolutely amazing tortillas.
Lastly, the guava mojito was very tasty but lack any alcohol(ic) flavor.
Overall, place is satisfying but would not be at the top of my list for going back.
