We had a reservation to celebrate Valentine’s Day.The whole staff was so welcoming and kind. Our server, Jess went above and beyond delivering the best experience. We chose the tasting menu and each course was timed out perfectly.Complementary champagne since it was a special occasion as well.We will be back!
‹ Reviews Marrow ・・・ It was easy to make reservations and highly recommended to do so as they were packed.Parking was easy as well. There's a small lot to the right with a few reserved spots for Marrow as well as street parking. We opted against the chef tasting menu because the few items that the bartender rattled off didn't excite me. Ordered: Liver mousse - good but too much duck fat on top.Had 4 half pieces of buttered toast with the liver. It's just too much grease on top of grease.I asked for more bread without butter. She said she'll get that out.It came out and we were charged $4 for 2 pieces of bread. It would've been fine had she told us instead of seeing it on the bill. Gnocchi - meh Duck - tender and had a nice crispy skin on it.The apple complemented it well. Michigan Beef - inconsistent and overcooked. We were never asked what temperature we wanted.Showed up medium well to well.Potatoes on the bottom also inconsistent, cold and some pieces were soggy and some crispy. Chocolate Blood Cake - underwhelming. Bone Marrow Custard - sounded intriguing but I wouldn't order again. When I think of custard, it's creamy and more like a custard. This was more gelatinous and maybe it's supposed to be this way.Just not what I expected. We sat the bar and the seat was about 4 inches too short for the counter.I literally could just shove food from counter to mouth.
Top notch! We chose the chef's menu - this day it was based on interpretation of New York Deli favorites. All 6 courses were superb, the dessert was absolute best I've ever had in my mouth.Atmosphere was darling, parking right in front of restaurant was as breeze and I totally fan girled from afar over Chef Welch 🥰 Will def be back!
