Maria's Fish Bar is a casual spot for takeaway that has seen better days. I recently ordered their large cod and chips, and while the cod was perfectly cooked with a lovely batter, the chips were disappointing. They were undercooked and lacked that delightful crunch, which was a letdown. On the bright side, service was fast, and it's kid-friendly with a decent kids' menu. Just wish they'd step up their chip game; I really wanted to love this place again... 🥔
