If you have tried Mamoun's in NYC or NJ, don't bother going to this one.It is not at all similar to the Mamoun's you will get in NYC or NJ.The baba ganoush did not have much eggplant in it, it was sour and had too much parsley. The chicken kebabs were dry and served just warm. The falafels (which tend to be my favorite) were greasy, cold, and did not taste like the iconic Mamoun's falafels.Do yourself a favor and skip this place.Honestly it isn't worth your time or money. The restaurant is rundown, not well kept. The outdoor seating area tables were dirty. The bathroom didn't have soap.
Tried the lamb sandwich which was good! Also tired their vegetarian combo plate that had falafel, baba ganoush and hummus.I couldn’t tell the difference between Baba Ganoush and Hummus as both were too sour. And the falafels tasted regular.I was expecting the falafels to be really good given the name itself has the word falafel. However, the staff were friendly, order was served quickly and the atmosphere was really nice.Loved the middle eastern vibe of the place.Parking can be hard to find as it’s a pretty busy street.
The place is very good place for Middle Eastern cuisine. The falafel is very good. They have a place to set outdoors that is great. The main problem is that they say they have shisha, but its not good.Just don't order it.It took them 40 min to bring it, and one of the two that we ordered just didn't worked so we managed to smoke only from one. Still the food is very good..loved it.
