8-15-24. First time diner.Came recommended I went with the clam strips and fries.A huge order, but my system did not take kindly and sat repeatedly to dispel a yellow flood.😫.Tasted great.Maybe it was bad mixers in the two exotic drinks I had.Either way I will think twice.The place is spacious with multiple stories with great potential.
We must have arrived at a weird time, about 4pm.I say this because we ordered food and when the app came we asked for the menu back because what we got was a bit different from what we ordered. We get the menu and get completely distracted because this menu has different selections on it, lol.Selections that weren’t on the previous menu and where things we probably would have ordered had we known they were available. Food was fine.Service was lacking.Took quite a bit of time to get a refill and just a basic check in and it wasn’t that busy. I’d go back for the food, even the app which was different from what we expected was good.
So I love this place most of the time and as you can see from my rating I still gave them above average on most counts.Service is friendly, beer is great, atmosphere isn’t bad (though if you’re sitting where I was with the sun beating in on you from the window it can get a bit warm) but today I was baffled by the pot roast special.It was a tad pricy but the thing that got me about it and as you can see from the pics, it was pretty dry especially with no gravy or pot roast broth.I couldn’t finish the pot roast itself but everything was decent otherwise (the green beans weren’t seasoned either).I’ve had other dishes here that were awesome though.Highly recommend the cheese curds and pumpkin ale!
