Let me tell you about my recent experience with Lisa's Chicken.I ordered 10 pieces of their dark fried chicken, and oh my goodness, it was like love at first bite. As soon as I opened the box, the aroma of perfectly seasoned crispy goodness hit me like a ton of bricks.I couldn't resist digging in right away, and let me tell you, it was worth every calorie. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, with a perfectly crispy coating that had me weak in the knees.I don't know what kind of magic Lisa's Chicken uses in their recipe, but I am totally under their spell. And don't even get me started on the sides. The mac and cheese was velvety and rich, and the mashed potatoes were like a warm, comforting hug in a bowl.I was in foodie heaven. But the best part of it all? The price! Lisa's Chicken is the real deal, offering top-notch fried chicken at prices that won't break the bank. It's like they're saying, "hey there, beautiful, you deserve some amazing chicken without having to sacrifice your entire paycheck."
Stopped here while passing through and wanted lunch.Chicken and the livers/gizzards were all tasty. Also watched the eclipse from across the street which was cool.
I like to put the chicken in the rolls with some gravy.I tried the dark meat 24 piece and it was mostly drum sticks.Dark meat mix should include thighs, wings, and drumsticks. The chicken tenders were a bit dry. They gave a very small cup of gravy for 30 pieces of chicken with no sauces. The food has to be eaten very quickly because leftovers are just not good. The chicken could also use some seasoning or maybe some overnight brining or maybe even seasoning of both the chicken and flower. The rolls were really tasty but aren't made in store.
