I recently tried La Monarca Seafood & Mexican Restaurant, hoping for authentic flavors. The atmosphere is lively with a DJ, providing a fun vibe! 🎶 I ordered the carne asada, which was surprisingly on point – tender and well-marinated.

However, my experience soured with the shrimp cocktail. I was shocked to find only tiny, flavorless shrimp. 😕 The menu, entirely in Spanish, felt a bit limiting for those who aren't fluent.

While the service was attentive (shoutout to the new staff!), I was hoping for more coherent menu guidance. With prices being quite steep for what’s offered, it’s hard to justify a return visit...
