La Huerta Mexican Restaurant

Came here for taco Tuesday.
I had one crispy beef taco, one crispy chicken taco, and a soft chicken taco.
All served up on their own plates.
They were pretty good, but I guess I should have eaten the chicken tacos first.
The chicken wasn't drained very well before putting it on the tacos, which made them kind of soggy.
But still good.
The staff was very friendly and cheerful, and the restaurant was nice and clean.

Took my family to eat here today, Ordered Chili relleno with red sauce.
Beans and rice, daughter ordered a Chocolate lava cake with ice cream and whipped cream on top.
And we also had cheese dip and guacamole dippers.
After a 10 min wait My food came and the Relleno was covered with cheese sauce, told waitress and she took it back , came back about 5 min later with red sauce put on top of the cheese sauce that was already on top of the relleno, by now the guacamole we ordered was turning brown within 10 minutes.
Chili relleno was soggy from the cheese sauce and the interior was absent any cheese for the first 6 bites, the beans were actually good but the rice had absolutely no flavor what so ever.
25 minutes into dinner , waitress comes over and says to my daughter she forgot her cake but her boss is making your plate, it's coming right out.
We all finish our dinners and at 47 minutes later they bring out my daughters plate after everyone is done eaten and have already gotten togo containers and are ready to leave.
And they acted like this was ok.
No I'm sorry.
Or anything.
You made a 9 year old cancer survivor child wait for 1 piece of cake for 47 minutes!! She set there while everyone eat and she had nothing.
Way to go LA Huerta! As long as you got paid.

I went back to try it again.
I was never served.
The rushed by twice and asked if I was doing ok but was already gone before I could even answer.
I went to the front where the lady ignored me too.
The server then came by and asked me what I needed I told him no one has taken my order so I'm letting you know I'm leaving.
He said he thought I was waiting for someone.
I was not taken care of so I left. If I was rating just on the food it's two stars.
It looks really good but the meat was very over cooked and nothing really had any seasoning to it.
However the atmosphere and service got them an additional star.
