La Garita Restaurant is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Puerto Rican cuisine! 🌴 The Mofongo was a standout - perfectly mashed plantains with a delicious garlic sauce that left me wanting more. My friend enjoyed the Pernil, which was tender and flavorful, paired beautifully with rice and beans.

The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made our dining experience even better. Although it was a bit busy during peak hours, the wait was worth it. Can’t wait to go back for the fresh seafood next time! 🍤✨

I live in Pflugerville and I wanted to go to La Garita to eat, all very delicious, all very clean and spectacular service 👌

This is a great place to get some good food.
We got the fried pork and they were perfectly fried.
The beans were fantastic! The plantains were traditionally prepared and the rice was very standard fair.
We will be eating here again as the food was great!

We waited for about three minutes to be seated.
We ordered food and it took a while to come out.
I got the fried plantains, fried potatoes, fried pork squares, and beef empanada.
The only thing that was good were the beef empanadas.
Everything else didn't have much flavor.
