In town for the Lions game at Soldier field and we had some time to kill before our hotel room was ready, and thought…… margaritas? The answering was an overwhelming YES!!!!! So we made our way by foot & pulled up to a table & were greeted immediately. Service.I’m not sure what defines good service for you, for me it’s when I feel like I’m at the servers house and they are being a great host.Once I have drinks in front of me, and I can forget I’m at a restaurant as a patron not an employee, is when I enjoy myself the most. This restaurant had great food, service & vibe.Margaritas were strong, fool had soul & this lunch was a moment our family will remember for decades. Thanks for your hospitality & keep up the good work.

This is a decent neighborhood spot. What they do well: speed, accuracy, and service. What could make the experience better: a bit more flavor, hot food, better ingredients for the cocktail (the mixers taste plastic/overally sugary). When you need to grab something quick in the area it gets the job done. What we ordered: - Enchiladas w/red sauce $15.95 - Stuffed Quesadilla $17.95 - Million dollar margarita pitcher $55 - this is one of the better margs
I’ve come to La Cantina Grill a few times, and usually, the food is spot on.This last time I went, the food just didn’t hit the same, but it was still good.We got mini chimichangas, regular chimichanga, mole veggie enchiladas, and veggie fajitas, and all of them were good.I also got the stuffed quesadillas, but they messed up our order twice, which was frustrating. The staff was super apologetic about it and fixed it, but it just took so long for them to get it right. The restaurant is pretty small and gets very loud during prime lunch and dinner times - I’d recommend making a reservation! I’ll be back since the food is excellent, but not during prime time!
