I love this place.
I got a tuna salad sandwich on a ciabatta roll the first time and it was amazing.
I bought some bread to take home.
I also had a Nutella crepe which (even though I was pretty full) was perfect for what I wanted.
I've also gotten a tartine/soup to go and it's not as fun eating in the restaurant but was still good. The people are always very nice even when I pronounce things wrong (whoops) and I've never had a problem. I'm sad they aren't open on Mondays but everyone deserves a day off.

Very nice place.
They have a large selection of Macarons.
My chocolate croissant was excellent.
I took some a loaf of pain au chocolate and it was fabulous too.
The staff were very attentive.

We were in Madison for an event.
The hotel didn't have any breakfast options, and my wife was yearning for an almond croissant.
Voila! We found that La Baguette was around the corner from us.
It was as if we walked into a bakery in Paris.
They weren't ready for us yet when they opened the doors, but we were told to wait a bit so they could bring out the morning's pastries.
We were not disappointed! And excellent coffee(I'm a coffee snob!).
