Ka Boodle Filipino Restaurant

We hadn't had a proper meal the whole day and it was already late.
Luckily, we found this hole in the wall place that was opened until 2am. There was a drunken karaoke party going on when we entered so we already knew this was a versatile place. My friend was craving soup so we ordered the bulalo.
It came with a hearty portion of meat that easily slid off the bone. The sizzling sisig was sublime.
It was a proper sinew-y sisig with finely chopped pig ears.
The meals all come with rice and your choice of drink.
They serve sangria, Filipino beer, and delicious Filipino dessert drinks here.
They also had homemade Filipino snacks, saran-wrapped to-go. The owner also owns 2 other restaurants in the area, from what I could understand as they mainly spoke Tagalog.
It is definitely a family-oriented business and they were all very welcoming.
My friend decided to sing some Taiwanese classics.
(The karaoke selection is truly marvelous). I wanted to try some flan or halo halo afterwards but they informed us it was drinking time and whisked our plates and wine away before we were done eating.
We had some Johnny Walker with the employees and were not allowed to leave until the bottle was finished. Needless to say, we had to come back to get some coffees in the morning.
They were potent and cheap! Hands down the best Filipino restaurant in Madrid; they have all the classics you can think of and as a cuisine that is less commercialized, this is as authentic as you can get without sneaking into someone's home kitchen.

Very cheap and affordable Filipino food.
They have large servings of home food which is delicious and tasty.
You can also buy other Filipino sweets and delicacies.
Very recommended.
We will come back here for more.
