First time trying Somali food, I found it via Google and Reddit suggestions. I got there very excited to try their food, and even though it seems I got there on a dinner rush (waited for 45 min for my meal) I have to say their food is really good. I had the goat cutlet over rice with vegetables and a side of chapatti. The goat was well charred and the meat was quite tender.I was missing some spice until I found their green hot sauce which is very tasty.I emptied the plate. The wait kinda messed a bit with the experience, also there seems to be a bit of air circulation problem as I left with the smell of cooking oil all over my clothes. In short: I recommend it, Very affordable, tasty and large portions.I’ll be back.
First time going here, you have to order from the front. The food was fresh. It'll take around 15 min for the food to come out. The meats are very tender and soft. The steak is crispy on the outside and very soft and flavorful. Costs about $20 per person on avg. Would recommend if you don't mind the atmosphere.
